Buying a home is typically the largest purchase that someone will make in their lifetime. At Frontier we pride ourselves on providing families with all the information they need to make educated decisions about the home buying process. Whether you know you are ready to buy a home and just need more information about the process; or you dream of owning a home, but need to repair your credit to make it a reality; we have resources available to help you. Our Housing Specialists are equipped with the education and experience necessary to help you overcome whatever obstacles stand in your way on the path to your new home. Our homebuyer classes provide a general overview of everything you need to know about the home buying process - from how to tell if you’re ready, to working with a realtor, to understanding your credit. Here are some of the options we offer:

Our classes have gone high tech, and for a small fee of $50, are now offered online at www.ehomeamerica.org/fh.

You have two choices:

1. Take the class at our Frontier Homeownership Center Learning Lab, utilizing our computers and internet, and enjoy working face-to-face with a certified counselor and meeting other homebuyers. These classes are offered Monday thru Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM, or
    
2. If you have a computer and internet access, simply enjoy the benefit of studying in the privacy of your own home on your own schedule online at www.ehomeamerica.org/fh.

The “Realizing the American Dream” classes teach potential homebuyers how to become successful homeowners. This course is open to anyone who is considering buying a home. Registration is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The course is tailored to meet the participants’ needs, no matter what phase of the home buying process they are in. A certificate is awarded upon completion of the class. This certificate satisfies the Homebuyer Education component for many Housing Programs offered in Kentucky.

Frontier’s homebuyer education program is designed to be results-oriented. Participants will gain a thorough knowledge of the home buying process while at the same time finding local resources to help them achieve their goal.
