their lifetime. At Frontier we pride ourselves on providing families with
all the information they need to make educated decisions about the home
buying process. Whether you know you are ready to buy a home and just need
more information about the process, or you dream of owning a home, but
need to repair your credit to make it a reality, we have resources
available to help you. Our Housing Specialists are equipped with the
education and experience necessary to help you overcome whatever obstacles
stand in your way on the path to your new home. Here are some of the
options we offer:First-Time Homebuyer Workshops
Our free first–time homebuyer workshops provide a general overview of
everything you need to know about the home buying process - from how to
tell if you’re ready, to working with a realtor, to understanding your
credit. These workshops are offered on a monthly basis at convenient times
and locations. Click here*

The Budget & Credit workshops are designed to help students learn basic
budgeting skills. Students learn the importance of good credit; how to
read a credit report and how to repair bad credit.
Predatory Lending
This workshop is designed to teach students the warning signs of predatory
lending from check cashing to mortgage refinancing. Predatory lending
tactics are expanding throughout Kentucky. This class will inform
participants what to do if they believe they are being targeted or
already have fallen victim to predatory lending.
Post Purchase Education
Frontier Housing’s Post Purchase Education program will provide
support to the new homeowner. This course offers information on what to
expect after you purchase your home. A home is usually the biggest
investment one will make. Learn how to protect and maintain your
