On Tuesday, August 26, 2008, Frontier was proud to host, in conjunction with the Kentucky Housing Corporation and JustChoice Lending, continuing education classes for the local real estate community.  Realtors from Rowan, Carter, Fleming and Mason Counties were in attendance, with numerous brokerages represented.

Kentucky Housing Corporation updated the class on real estate law changes in the morning, followed by lunch, which was provided by Frontier.  Jon Rogers, of Federation of Appalachian Housing Enterprise (FAHE), followed with an overview of the many different programs for affordable home financing available to potential home buyers through Kentucky Housing, FAHE and JustChoice Lending.

Kelly Fleck, Loan Originator for Frontier, then gave a brief presentation on down-payment and closing cost assistance opportunities that are available.  Real estate brokers and salespeople were encouraged to work with Frontier on home financing and given home fact sheets and updated on Frontier’s manufactured home partnership with Clayton Homes.  Many were surprised at Frontier’s offerings to the moderate income market, as well as the Community at Edgewood, located just off KY 801 on Rice Road.
